To celebrate the third anniversary of Hoop Social work, we wanted to re-evaluate our current candidate offering to ensure our candidates were receiving benefits they found useful and get genuine value from.

Whilst speaking to candidates, what kept coming up was assistance with their CPD. Social Workers are always looking for training/resources to develop their career and contribute towards their re-registration.

We sent out an anonymous survey so we could get together an overview of what training would be beneficial to our locums. The response was incredible and enabled us plan the training sessions based on what exactly they need.

Following these findings, we have been busy over the past few months working behind-the-scenes to put our Social Workers recommendations into action. These changes will enable us to offer our locums quarterly training sessions, run by accredited providers at the Hoop HQ! Each session will cover different topics, but these will be announced prior to the day so you can decide if it would be of relevance and beneficial to you. This training offering is just one of the many benefits that you will receive whilst working for Hoop Social Work. Keep an eye out as dates will be announced in October 2022.
