Description
Welsh Language Officer Location: Cardiff
Salary: £22,800-£23,800 (35 hour contract)
Full-time, Permanent PART TIME WILL BE CONSIDERED

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Creating engaging bilingual content, including case studies, videos, and social media posts.
  • Developing marketing materials in Welsh to support company-wide initiatives.
  • Representing the company at external meetings and events held in the Welsh language.
  • Supporting HR and operational teams in delivering Welsh-language projects and resources.
  • Maintaining key Welsh-language standards, including the Cynnig Cymraeg accreditation.
  • Translating internal communications, policies, and external enquiries into Welsh.
What We’re Looking For
  • Fluent Welsh and English speaker, with strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for Welsh language, culture, and community engagement.
  • Experience in marketing, content creation, or communications.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Creative and proactive mindset, with an ability to drive initiatives forward.
Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, or video editing software.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.
  • A degree in Welsh Language, Marketing, or a related field.
