Description
We are working with secondary schools to recruit  passionate Science Teachers to join their team. This role involves planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging Science lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to individual student needs. As a Science Teacher, you will inspire students, foster an inclusive and motivating classroom environment, and instill a love for learning in the fields of biology, chemistry, and physics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging Science lessons that align with curriculum standards and meet individual student needs
  • Foster an inclusive and motivating environment that encourages curiosity and scientific inquiry
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices in Science education
  • Prepare students for assessments and examinations, equipping them with the skills and confidence to excel in science-related subjects
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary school level (specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics is an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Dedication to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in Science education
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (completion during recruitment is possible)
  • Current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance (SET Recruitment provides free DBS if not on the update service)
  • Right to work documentation in the UK
  • Updated CV
