Description
We are working with Secondary Schools to recruit enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) Teachers. This role will involve planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging PE lessons that align with curriculum standards while catering to individual student needs. As a PE Teacher, you will foster an inclusive and motivating classroom environment, promote teamwork, and instill a lifelong passion for physical activity in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging PE lessons that align with curriculum standards and meet individual student needs
  • Foster an inclusive and motivating environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and a love for physical activity
  • Assess student progress in various physical activities and provide constructive feedback tailored to their development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices in physical education
  • Prepare students for physical assessments and examinations, equipping them with the skills and confidence to excel in sports and fitness
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in physical education
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (completion during recruitment is possible)
  • Current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance (SET Recruitment provides free DBS if not on the update service)
  • Right to work documentation in the UK
  • Updated CV
