Principal Social Worker IAA & MASH
Rhondda Cynon Taff
Pay rate up to £41.58 per hour
RCT Childrens' Services are looking for a Principal Social Worker to join their IAA / MASH service for an initial 3 month contract. This role offers hybrid working, with 3 days on site in a childrens services office, and 2 days at home. Pay rate for this role is in line with the ADSS pledge at £41.58 Umbrella.
In this role, The Principal Social Worker covering MASH will attend Pontypridd Police Station one day a week so this would be instead of Ty Elai. There are 5 PSWs so this is on a rota'd-basis. The Seniors work it between themselves as some prefer MASH work and others IAA, so some never go to the Police Station and some are there regularly. In the MASH service you will be responsible for chairing strats and minuting and in the IAA service you will make initial decisions against the referrals coming in.
To apply for this role, you will need to hold -
