- Hoop Education are recruiting Teaching and Learning Assistants to work on a casual basis in the local Primary and Secondary Schools!
We are currently working with a variety of schools who are looking for enthusiastic support staff to join their team at a Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education to join our agency. Whether you are an experienced Learning Support Assistant or seeking to gain experience in a school before pursuing teacher training, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for individuals who are patient, inspiring, caring, and sensitive to the needs of vulnerable people. You should be a good listener, capable of reporting and recording information accurately. As a team player, you should also be able to work independently with minimal support when needed. Resilience is key, as you will need to work proactively with challenging behaviour. We value diversity, health, and safety, and are committed to safe working practices.
You will:- Support pupils both during and outside of lessons.
- Assist pupils individually or in small groups within the classroom environment.
- Help plan and prepare lessons with the teacher in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
- Maintain standards within lessons and support pupils of all abilities.
- Share responsibility for health and safety.
