Hoop Education are recruiting local Examination Invigilators!

We are looking for Examination Invigilators to work on a casual basis to supervise the students taking both mock and external examinations within local Secondary Schools.

You will:

  • Support the Examinations Officer
  • Be responsible for collecting papers from the Examination Office
  • Be responsible for starting, conducting and finishing examinations
  • Be responsible for returning completed examination papers and all other stationery to the Examinations Office immediately after the examination
We are looking for individuals who have:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to maintain calm, disciplined and effective examination conditions
  • The ability to adapt and be flexible
  • The ability to invigilate for several hours at a time, if required
  • The ability to patrol the examination room on a regular basis and to stand for long periods of time. This is necessary in order to monitor the conduct of the students.
We're seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team, you should have a valid, enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one. Registration (or willingness to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is essential. Your passion for education, excellent organisational skills, and effective communication abilities will empower you to support and improve educational outcomes for all pupils. Aligning with the school's ethos is equally important to us.
