Location: Onsite in Cardiff (CF11 8TT)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 16:30
About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking and employee-focused organisation, is looking for a Marketing Assistant & Welsh Language Officer. In this pivotal role, you'll support the marketing function by crafting engaging content, running impactful campaigns, and boosting overall brand awareness. You will also be key to advancing the company’s commitment to bilingual communication and its Welsh action plan.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Marketing Executive to create and refine bilingual content, including case studies, internal communications, and marketing materials.
- Manage social media channels by scheduling and posting content in both English and Welsh.
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns and conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities—especially within Welsh language and culture.
- Help plan and deliver events, ensuring all materials align with the brand and are presented bilingually.
- Translate internal and external communications, ensuring accessibility and consistency in both languages.
- Support the maintenance of relevant accreditation and promote Welsh language resources across the business.
- A degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification.
- At least one year’s experience in a marketing role.
- Proficiency in Welsh is essential.
- A full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company).
- A CIM qualification is a plus.
