Independent Social Worker – Parenting Assessments / CUBAS / CPAs

Flexible / remote working with travel to clients locations

Are you an experienced and dedicated social worker with expertise in assessments? Do you have availability in your working week and are looking to earn an extra income? We are currently expanding our pool of independent, skilled social workers to meet the growing needs of our clients across South and West Wales.

We are currently seeking professionals to undertake a variety of assessments, including:

• Parenting Assessments
• CUBAS Assessments
• Connected Persons Assessments

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

• A minimum of 5 years' experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales
• Reside in South Wales / West Wales
• Hold an enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS 
• 3 Years of referencing 
• Driving license with access to a car and valid car insurance
• Professional indemnity insurance

Please note that while we maintain a pool of Independent Social Workers (ISWs), we cannot guarantee consistent work. The selection of ISWs for specific assignments is ultimately determined by our end clients. Payment for ISW services is made upon completion of the work.

Additionally, please be aware that we are unable to process payments through self-employment directly. However, we offer the following payment options: working through your own limited company (paid outside of IR35), an umbrella company, or PAYE.
