Business Support Assistant (Full-Time, Temporary – 6 Months)

About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Assistant to join our client’s team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to vital administrative operations, supporting a vital team and ensuring smooth day-to-day processes. The role will be based on-site and requires a candidate with Excel skills and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update records on an inhouse database
  • Scan and email contracts accurately.
  • Draft and type professional letters.
  • Support the team with a variety of general administrative tasks.
  • Ensure all duties are performed in line with procedural guidelines.
Location: Office-based (own car required).

Requirements:
  • Valid DBS check.
  • Access to your own vehicle (essential for the role).
  • Previous admin experience and proven proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and confident in asking questions to clarify tasks.
  • Availability to work 9:00 am–5:00 pm (7.5 hours per day), with potential flexibility
Details:
  • Start Date: 1st January 2024
  • Duration: 6 months (covering a secondment)
  • Hourly Rate: £13–£14
  • Interview: Face-to-face
