Project Support Officer

Hoop PS&HR are proud to announce a brand-new and exclusive role with our incredible client based in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to develop their skills and knowledge further.

This position is based within the public sector and will need someone who is extremely driven, kind, and motivated. This is a full time FTC position until March 2025, and come with a salary of up to £26,000, along with hybrid working.

Job Summary:


This position will sit within the Learning and Development team and will play a vital role in the planning and coordination of major projects. Day to day, you will provide efficient administration to support the L&D team and ensure the effective delivery of projects. The duties of this role are wide ranging and will focus on changes in the Culture and Organisational Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for the team.
  • Working closely with sensitive information relating to projects.
  • Supporting the team and ensuring on time delivery.
  • Monitor, evaluate and assess the progress of work.
  • Report and analyse information to support project delivery.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings by providing meeting agendas and minute taking.
  • Data entry, ensuring all key documents, spreadsheets and data are up to date.
  • Evaluate and assess project performance, highlighting areas of risk.
  • Responsible for implementing and ordering supplies.
Requirements:
  • Strong IT skills
  • Administrative experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Awareness of policies and procedures
  • Data entry and minute taking experience
  • Ability to speak Welsh (Desirable)
