Description
We are currently seeking a Science Technician for a Secondary School in Monmouthshire.

Duties include:

  • Working closely with the Science Department
  • preparing materials and equipment for science lessons
  • Replenishing stock
  • Following Health & Safety regulations
  • providing support to teaching staff
  • Supporting the team in the maintenance of all laboratories/classrooms and all science equipment.
The ideal candidate will:

  • Have lab experience or experience as a Science Technician
  • Have experience setting up equipment in a laboratory environment
  • Have experience following Health & Safety regulations in a similar environment
  • Work well as part of a team and individually
  • Be efficient and work well under pressure
Previous experience of working in a school laboratory would be an advantage.
