Social Worker - Adults with Learning Disabilities

Pay rate £35 per hour payrolled via an umbrella company
A Qualified Social Worker is required on preferably a full time basis to join Bridgend Social Services Adults with Learning Disabilities team. Pay rate for this role is up to £35 per hour payrolled as an Umbrella company. This contract will initially run for 3-6 months, but there is scope for this to continue beyond this period of time whilst the authority recruit permanently. This role offers hybrid and flexible working with the office based at Picton Court Retail Park.
The Learning Disability teams work with Service Users and their families to maximise independence and opportunities which enable service users to enjoy purposeful, meaningful and fulfilled lives. The candidate must have experience in working in learning disability teams. Experience of assessment, care planning, person centred planning and care management are essential, as is the ability to use IT in a competent manner and to meet performance standards. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong value base and committed to strength based practice.

- A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Care Wales
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
