Description
 

Hoop Education are currently seeking Key Stage 2 specialist teachers to work in our partner Primary schools in the Haverfordwest area.  Key Stage 2 Teachers are needed for a variety of roles including ad-hoc day to day cover, short term week to week cover, and longer term placements – all of which provide an opportunity for to showcase your teaching ability to our schools prior to permanent positions becoming available 

Hoop have become firmly established in the Pembrokeshire area and are a 1st choice supplier of both Teachers and Teaching Assistants to many Primary schools across school clusters in the authority. 

 

What you will receive working as a Teacher for Hoop Education: -

  • Minimum daily pay rate of £157.66 in line with National Framework
  • Access to a large range of our partner schools across Pembrokeshire
  • Weekly PAYE (no hidden deductions)
  • An experienced dedicated consultant with over 10 years placing Teachers and TAs in schools will work with you to get you the jobs and schools you want.
 

You will be required to have the flexibility and skills to work throughout the Key Stage 2 and need to quickly build strong relationships with each school’s staff and pupils.  You will confidently use effective behaviour management techniques in line with school policies to create safe and respectful classrooms.  You will also strive to perform at a high level on each placement to ensure continuity in pupils’ learning and development in the absence of their regular Teacher.

 

Essential Requirements for the role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) in the category of School Teacher
  • Child only DBS attached to the update service (or be willing to complete a new DBS through Hoop)
