Frontline Children's - Social Worker
Pay rate in line with the All Wales Pledge - £38.15 Umbrella
Caerphilly County Borough Council
Blackwood children services is seeking a qualified social worker to work in a frontline children services team in Caerphilly CBC. The post will require intensive work with families and includes undertaking assessments and safeguarding roles to ensure children are safe. The team work across all areas including CASP, CP. CLA and may include court work. The team are friendly and welcoming.
If you are effective at building positive working relationships, have good communication and IT skills and have a genuine passion and commitment to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families, we want to hear from you. We work collaboratively to promote "what matters" with children and their families.
Caerphilly Children Services have strong links to the Gwent Attachment Service and Caerphilly has invested in MyST therapeutic service, which provides intensive support to their Children who are Looked After.

- A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Care Wales
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
