Do you have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young learners' lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant to work within a school in the Cardiff area.

 

This role is working as a general TA in a lovely Welsh Primary School in the north Cardiff area. This role will be 5 days per week for a full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining classroom discipline in line with the school discipline policy.
  • Building rapport between yourself and pupils.
  • Supporting pupils as they undertake work in line with the national curriculum priorities.
  • Promoting the school ethos and adhering to all school policies and procedures.
  • Working closely with all school colleagues and under direction of the school leadership team.

The ideal candidate will:

  • The ability to speak Welsh is advantageous. 
  • Have experience of working in a Primary School setting.
  • Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to nurturing young minds.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying classroom environments.
