Children Looked After Team Social Worker
Vale of Glamorgan
£38.43 per hour in line with the All Wales Pledge
We are looking for 2 Qualified Social workers to work in the Vale of Glamorgan's Children Looked After Team for initial 3 month contracts, due to staff sickness. The roles offer hybrid working and flexibility. Pay rates are compliant with the All Wales Pledge (umbrella rate for regular hours would be £38.43) and candidates must be able to travel to the Vale. Office base would be the Docks, Barry. Free on site parking available.
The CLA team provides support to children and young people who are the subject of Care Orders and also children with a plan for adoption. The Team’s focus is on enabling children who are looked after to achieve their potential through stable placements, appropriate education and positive attachments. Where children require therapeutic support, this is readily available through a dedicated psychology service. The Vale of Glamorgan is a place where practitioners are able to make a real difference. - A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Care Wales
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
