Fostering - Cardiff
Pay rate £38.43 per hour in line with All Wales Pledge
A Qualified Social Worker is required to join Cardiff Social Services Fostering Service as a Supervising Social Worker for an initial 3-6 month contract. Pay rate for this role is in line with the ADSS pledge. We are happy to seek enquiries from candidates wanting a minimum of 3 days a week. You be required to be office based at least 1 day a week and whilst on duty and will need to be able to be able to travel on a daily basis to visits and events in and around the City of Cardiff
We are looking for a qualified social worker with experience of supporting foster carers and cared for children and young people to join us in our stable and experienced mainstream fostering team. You will be responsible for supervising foster carers, as well as participating our duty service in which you will assist in identifying matches for young people who need to be cared for. The role also involves participating in recruitment activities and foster carer events. You will be required to have a good working knowledge of legislation related to cared for children and the regulatory requirements related to local authority fostering services.

- A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Care Wales
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
